alot of them were on sale! *le sigh

Today I worshiped at the alter of commercialism.
Not quite a full out mass really, more like a quick "Spectacles, Testicles, Wallet and Watch" but still.

Had my law class this morning where we all got yelled at for not doing the assigned reading. Even though I did, I just get tired of being the resident brain who always answers the questions.

Then I hung around for an hour and a half and played with the html for the new template (which I really like. yay!)

Proceeded to a 2 hour meeting to sanction my special events club (solo, might I add. My co-prez's car was making sounds like a dying water buffalo or something so she didn't even make it to school.)

Headed downtown and went to winners where I bough a skirt for my awards thing coming up (maybe). It's black (or so claims roomie) with sort of a brown detail at the bottom and an underslip of black tuile. I don't know what alot of those words mean, but the skirt is pretty.

Proceeded to the gap where I had to restrain myself from buying an olive green military inspired fall jacked (which I can't find on the net or I would post a picture for anyone out there wishing to gain my affections).

Next was Holt's for lip stick for my mom and shampoo for my dad (yeah yeah...we're upper middle class and proud of it). I looked like a sweaty poor student (huge backpack, sweatshirt, jeans with a mysterious stain) but the lady at Bobby Brown was still really nice. Little does she know that I own (conservatively) $2,000 worth of handbags.

Writing that made me a little bit giddy. I have a thing for purses.

Next stop on our purchasing parade: sunrise records for the new Killer's CD. HMV had it on sale for $9.99 but I like to stick it to the man sometimes so I ripped a cupon out of the paper this morning that made it the same price at sunrise. Got there and it was the same price anyway, even though it was also stickered with $19,99.

Went to starbucks (yum) and quiznos (yum, tuna melt).

Came home and bought ticks for the royal winter fair in November. Yay mom and me bonding time. Especially since she likes to buy me things.

I'm coming off as excessively materialistic in this post. I'm not, really.

Went to the gym and there were other girls on the treadmils so I did some time on the eliptical waiting for them to be done. They were both listening to music so I put the TV on. Yay working out while watching Antiques Roadshow.

Watched the standoff pilot (actually pretty good) and am in the middle of Gilmore Girls right now, then off to bed.

Hopefully I won't spend any money tomorrow...I'm not holding out much hope :s
